By Stephenie Meyer
I hate to admit this, but yes, Twilight seris are in my book collections. I forgot why I picked this book or my English class when I was in high school, but I got hooked! I can't even explain why. I'm not a Twilight fan girl, but I watched the movie...
Th story between Edward and Bella was...beautiful. I guess that is the kind of "boyfriend" and love every teenage girl dreams of. But after I finished 3 of the books, I thought it was ridiculous. I don't like how Stephenie Meyer changed the figure of vampire. Sparkly under the sunlight, seriously? Vampire goes to hight school, come on! Sneaking into the girl's bedroom who you have a crush on, and watching her sleeping and dreaming, I called that a real "stalker".
But I have to admit, there's a reason why this seris of books are in millions o prints. You just have to forget of the vampire novels you have read before you reading Twilight. It's unique, and beautifully written. The romance between Edward and Bella is touching and compelling. Once you start, you just can't stop. But afterwards, you might feel a little stupid like I did....

By Anne Rice
I am a big Vampire fan! I was very busy with school work, didn't have much time to read novels... I thought it would be a good idea for me to move on to the next reading assignment so I can catch up with the class. But I couldn't do it, I just have to finish this book!
I actually watched the movie before I read the book(many times, I didn't know it was basic on a book.). I thought that was one of the sexiest vampire movie!
The book starts quite slow, the beginning borings me, I was going to give up and move on to the next book, I skipped to where Louis leaves New Orleans, I am so glad I did. the story starts moving faster. I was enjoying of reading the romance between Claudia and Louis. As Claudia aging in mind, not body, she started hating Lestat, and tried to killed him.
Anne's book is worst to read! Her vampire stories is so...true? She sticks with the traditional vampires instead of making them up. I watch other movie that was basic on her book(glade I took this class...), Queen of Damned. I noticed her books always have a little of twisted romance between the main characters, which was interesting.
Vampire has everything, but they are the saddest thing in the world. Not God, nor devil, definaly not human. They are beautiful, strong, experienced everything on earth, but what are they really?

By Seth Grahame Smith and Jane Austen Zombies.... I'm not a fan of zombies, but my roommate is. They are ugly, dirty? gross. Thank god they are slow. Zombies are quite popular in Western movies. Anyways, the book. It's odd? Taking a classical novel and adding new elements to it that give the novel a very different feel....But it has it's unique feeling. I can't describe how I feel about this book, I was more interesting to read Elizabeth and Darcy be together and how many zombies they couldn't kill...

Frankenstein

By Mary Shelley

Frankenstein is one of the key texts in modern literature, it was written by Mary Shelley in 1818.
I don't know if I should describe the novel this way, but this novel is mysterious, thrilling, violent, sad, but beautiful at the same time. The mysterious about it was Victor Frankenstein, the monster creator, grew up in a perfectly loving family, he was trying to create a human life, trying to take the role of God, but end up with a monster. The monster was tempted to kill, because he wants revenge, his childlike mind is angry, and he thinks killing is the best way to revenge on Victor. The sweet part about this movie is the friendships between characters. The monster was trying to make friends with De Lacey family by doing small chores, learning words, he was watching the way they love each other, he wished he could be loved like the family, because he has no family or home. He wasn't a heartless monster as he should be. But, in the end he is still alone.
I was surprised I actually enjoyed reading this book, I like how Mary Shelly connected all the emotional elements together, from mysterious to beautiful. It was...catchy. I found this novel familiar when I was reading it. The story was in a lot of movies that I watched. Van Helsing was one of them, I even have the DVD...

ok,

I don't blog, because I don't have my computer with me 24/7, and when I have my computer, I am doing something... I like to write things down on papers, sketchbooks, or something.

So... I post all my reviews together...
